Installed Gun Safe Delivery:

At the time of sale we will schedule a time/date and get detailed information on the install parameters plus a quote on the installation costs

  • $200 – Safes Under 1000 lbs.
  • $300 – Safes from 1000-1400 lbs.
  • $400 – Safes above 1400 lbs.

These base rates include delivery of safe to main floor with no more than 2 steps

Additional charges will be incurred for the following conditions (quoted by delivery service)

  • Delivery Distance from Warehouse 
  • Additional steps above 2
  • Type of stairway
  • Bolt Down Service (Not available in all areas)
  • Outside Surface Entrance (Gravel, Dirt, etc.)
  • Basement or Upstairs 

Terms & Conditions

IN-STOCK & OUT-OF-STOCK ORDERS:

 In most cases, your safe (or one similar to it) will be in-stock at our warehouse. If the safe is OUT-OF-STOCK, Jacksonville Safe Co. will add it to their next shipment at no additional fee (currently shipping Special Orders within 8-10 weeks). If you request your order be expedited, a special handling and shipping service charge of 30% will apply.

GUN SAFE DELIVERY NOTES:

IN HOME – MAIN FLOOR installation is limited to typical first-floor access involving 0 to 2 outside steps within predetermined local zones. A flat level concrete or paved pathway is required. Customer is responsible for ensuring the pathway, deck, steps, staircase and foundation is adequate to support the weight of the safe, safe transporting equipment and installation crew. Certain stairways, marble floors, or other obstacles may involve additional charges. Pallet & packaging is removed from safe during main floor and stair carry deliveries.

STAIR CARRY – CUSTOM installation Upstairs or Downstairs includes 3-15 additional steps inside the home. Due to size and weight, stair carry may not be available on 40+ CUBIC FOOT SIZE MODEL SAFES.

PLEASE NOTE: DIFFICULT GUN SAFE DELIVERIES due to outside terrain, types of stairways, second floor or multiple floor installations, marble/tile/wood floors, etc. may involve additional charges to complete the delivery. We reserve the right to decline installations and or delivery involving risk of personal injury or property damage. Property title of merchandise purchased will transfer to buyer at dealer’s location. OUT OF LOCAL AREA SHIPPING DISCLAIMER:

Gun Safe Delivery is available only within the contiguous United States of America, and does not include options to Hawaii, Alaska, any U.S. Territory, International addresses, or APO/FPO addresses. All gun safe order shipments will be shipped and delivered by a full-length tractor trailer (53′ length) and all delivery addresses must be accessible by a full length tractor trailer.  All orders will be marked for “Curb Side Gun Safe Delivery with Liftgate”. All drivers come equipped with only a pallet jack to assist in moving the safe. If the area leading to your home is found to be unpaved, excessively long, too steep, or just inaccessible, these are valid reasons that will prevent the delivery of a safe. In such cases, it may be necessary to pick up the safe from the local distribution center.  Drivers will pull up as close to the curb as possible and under no circumstances will they pull into any driveways.  If a driver for any of the above mention reasons is unable to provide the gun safe delivery he will at his own discretion either attempt to move the safe as far as he may go or deliver the safe to the curb. Champion Safe Company will not be held responsible if the freight carrier is unable to provide curbside delivery as Specified. Customers whom refuse to take delivery of their order because the freight carrier is unable to provide gun safe delivery will be assessed all shipping charges to and from the address of delivery plus a 15% restocking fee. These fees will be deducted from the original purchase price of the safe prior to refund being issued. Please read additional description of services and exclusions below.

Curb Side Gun Safe Delivery includes the driver (1 person) unloading the gun safe from the truck and placing it at the curb. This delivery service is available in most locations inside the Continental US except certain areas within New York with zip codes beginning in (0 or 9), (100-104) & (110-119). Additional restrictions may apply*. Please note that this is a delivery service only and does not include the de-palletization, unpackaging, debris removal, or placement of safe once the safe is unloaded. It will be the responsibility of the customer to either move or make arrangements for moving the safe inside the house.

IMPORTANT:  If a driver is unable to access the delivery address with a full length tractor trailer due to narrow streets, tight turns, low hanging branches and/or power lines, weight restrictions, unpaved roads, or address being located on a dead end street, a customer may be required to meet the driver at a secondary location.  Shorter trucks may be available in some areas please contact Jacksonville Safe Company to determine availability.

“Curbside Gun Safe Delivery with Liftgate” is offered to most areas in the contiguous U.S. Some remote areas such as islands, areas accessible only by toll bridge or ferry service, union states, etc. may be subject to additional fees. If any additional freight charges are applicable, customers will be notified prior to shipping and will be given the option to either maintain or cancel their order.

FREIGHT ACCEPTANCE POLICY & PROCEDURES:

All safes must be inspected at time of delivery. When the safe arrives, the driver will promptly hand you a delivery receipt and request a signature for acceptance of the delivery. Please note that when signing this delivery receipt you will be agreeing to the terms and condition set forth by the carrier which clearly states you “received in good condition, except as noted” the safe that is being delivered. Prior to signing the delivery receipt (in a timely manner) please inspect the packaging of the safe for any noticeable signs of damage such as tears in the box(es), heavy friction marks to the box(es), indentations, etc. If there are any signs of visible damage to the packaging, please show the driver and further inspect the safe to determine if there are any damages to the safe. Any damages (large or small) must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing. At the time of delivery, it is every customer’s right to refuse a safe that has been damage during shipment. A customer that notices any damage after signing the delivery receipt should contact the carrier immediately (a contact phone number is provided on the delivery receipt) to notify them of the damages. All customers that accept delivery of a safe that has been damaged during shipping but fail to note damage on the delivery receipt will be responsible for the filing of their own claim against the carrier. No customer shall discard the pallet and/or packaging material until the safe is fully opened, inspected, and found to be in good operating condition. Customers that do accept delivery of damaged safe and have noted the damages on the delivery receipt are asked to take pictures of the packaging material and safe and send them to info@jacksonvillesafe.com.

RETURNS:

Unsatisfactory returns will be accepted for a period of 14 days from the day the product is received. All products must be returned within the original shipping box and with all packaging material in place. Customer will be responsible for all shipping fees to the address of shipping origin. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Additional fees may be assessed if a product is not returned in the original packaging and/or has been damaged during the return shipment back to the warehouse. All return freight charges are to be determined by Jacksonville Safe Company.
